Client
Academy Verify needed a purpose-built system to support medical insurance verification workflows end to end. The organization required structured administration tools for data intake, status tracking, and expiration handling. They also needed controls that matched real operational roles, not generic “admin vs user” access. The result had to be maintainable, extensible, and designed for long-term workflow growth.
Problem
- Off-the-shelf tools could not support the required verification and expiration lifecycle
- Permission and role control needed to be more granular than typical plugins allowed
- Administrative workflows required consistency, auditability, and operational clarity
- The solution needed a scalable foundation for future modules and integrations
Strategy & approach
Tools & methods used
- Modular platform architecture with custom modules
- Role-based permissions and access control design
- Workflow automation for verification and expiration states
- Admin dashboards and operational reporting views
- Secure data handling patterns and maintainable code structure
We partnered closely with stakeholders to map the full verification lifecycle, including handoffs, edge cases, and expiration events. We designed roles and permissions around real operational responsibilities, then built workflows that reduced manual tracking and repeated follow-ups. We implemented the solution on a modular architecture so new requirements could be added without destabilizing the core. We also prioritized a clean administrative UX so the system was fast to use, not merely functional.
