Client
Brandz Agency needed to process operational data that was overloading their WordPress environment. They also required permission and visibility controls that typical plugins could not provide. The business needed a way to manage and report on data reliably without breaking their marketing and commerce workflows. We delivered a solution that preserved WordPress strengths while introducing purpose-built operational tooling.
Problem
- Operational data volume was overloading WordPress performance and workflows
- Plugin-based permissions were not granular enough for the team’s needs
- Admin visibility and reporting did not match real operational requirements
- The solution needed to remain maintainable as the business expanded
Strategy & approach
Tools & methods used
- WordPress and WooCommerce enhancements
- Custom data management module development
- Role-based permissions modeling
- Admin dashboards and reporting views
- Performance-minded architecture and separation of concerns
We preserved WordPress and WooCommerce for customer-facing needs, then separated operational workloads into a custom management layer. We designed permissions around team roles to ensure the right access at the right level, without exposing sensitive controls broadly. We implemented admin dashboards to surface actionable data instead of raw exports. We focused on separation of concerns so scaling operations would not degrade the marketing site experience.
